PRAYER TEACHING:

“A Walk through Psalms: Prayer & Praise”

By reading and dissecting Psalms, we can glean a prayer focus for corporate prayer or our devotional prayer time. Let’s take a look at Psalm 51: 1-4: “Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict and justified when you judge.

We are reminded here that Adonai is merciful, unfailing love, compassionate, forgiving, and the righteous judge, and that we are sinful. Let’s pray together right now wherever you are:

Dear Abba, I give myself to you and all of my sins. I ask you to forgive me and to cleanse me by the atonement of Yeshua. I love and adore you. I am so thankful for your mercies and unfailing love and compassion that keeps me close to you. In Yeshua’s Name.
